Most of us are well aware of Americans’ health problems, and many of our nation’s health issues are rooted in our food system. The Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition plays a vital role in discovering ways to influence healthy eating, create access to fresh, healthy foods and eliminate food insecurity.

Here at the Center, we work across areas critical to the health of Americans. Specifically we seek to identify solutions and implement programming for obesity prevention, local foods systems (such as Farm to School) and food insecurity and its potential cause-and-effect relationship with obesity. In order to ensure real, positive and lasting change, we implement and evaluate work at local and national levels. Our work helps to make programs and policies in these content areas better, and that makes a difference in the lives of Americans.

Donate today, and we will continue to support and strengthen the efforts of organizations, researchers and policymakers, as well as implement our own projects, that will help grow a healthier next generation.

Whatever amount you give to support us, we sincerely thank you for allowing us a solid financial foundation.
