Main takeaways and highlights: As the incoming chair of the American Public Health Association’s (APHA) Food and Nutrition section, Dr. Zigmont had the opportunity to network with other incoming APHA leaders from across the United States. Conversations included planning for across-section collaborations involving future professional development and conference activities. APHA provided tools to support leadership for incoming affiliate (state level) presidents and section leaders. Dr. Zigmont looks forward to re-connecting with other section leaders at the upcoming annual APHA meeting being held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, October 27–30, where CNHI will have an exhibitor’s booth.
