American Public Health Association (APHA) 2024 Annual Conference

Attendees: Executive Director Dr. Amy Yaroch, Associate Director Leah Carpenter, Health Services Research Scientist Dr. Victoria Zigmont, Graduate Research Assistant Sueny Paloma Lima Dos Santos, Culture & Engagement Manager Tony Gargano, Research Associate Christina Ballu 

Overview: This year’s theme, Rebuilding Trust in Public Health and Science, focused on looking toward prevention and promotion to enable populations to live longer, healthier lives and rebuilding trust in scientific research to create optimal, equitable health and well-being for all.

Main takeaways and highlights: The CNHI team was involved in several presentations and posters, as well as organized a booth in the exhibitor’s hall. This was a great opportunity to promote our new brand and share about the impact of our meaningful work with other public health professionals from all over the United States and beyond.
