Eliminating Health Disparities Conference

Overview: Organized by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Health Disparities, this conference aimed to strengthen relationships, amplify voices and mobilize Division of Public Health internal and external partners to eliminate health disparities across Nebraska.

Main takeaways and highlights: “Dr. Parks and I attended this Nebraska-based conference to better understand some of the initiatives addressing health disparities and inequities across the state,” Fricke shared. She continued, “As CNHI begins to work on a landscape analysis related to food and nutrition security in the Omaha area for the Omaha Community Foundation project, our goal was to observe, listen and network with other Nebraska-based partners.”
