Food Story
Talavera is a firm believer that food is a multi-dimensional aspect of health and wellness. Food is social—her strongest relationships have been forged over shared meals and meaningful connection. Additionally, Talavera views food as physical and moral—she has committed to a plant-based lifestyle in support of her own gut health and the protection of our environment. Lastly, food is cultural. Talavera feels connected to her roots when she cooks Filipino food or seeks out Filipino restaurants. Food is more than just fuel!
