Food Story

Tomar’s love for food began in high school when she enrolled in a nutrition class. Initially, she joined out of curiosity to learn how to cook, but the class turned out to be so much more. Tomar discovered the transformative power of food—its role in recovery, its critical importance in early childhood development and its profound impact on overall well-being. As someone who overcame an eating disorder during her teenage years, Tomar has a deep appreciation for the role nutrition plays in fostering health and resilience. Today, cooking has become more than just a hobby for her; it’s Tomar’s safe space—a creative outlet and my go-to to reorient herself in her free time.
