Rooted in Evidence (RIE) Cohort 3 In-person Meeting

Attendees: Senior Research Scientist Betsy Anderson Steeves, Senior Marketing and Communications Manager Courtney Freitag, Project Manager Whitney Clausen, Culture & Engagement Manager Tony Gargano, Research Associate Laura Flournoy 

Main takeaways and highlights: Grantees from seven national food banks ended the third cohort of RIE with an in-person meeting and workshop highlighting project outcomes and lessons learned. Each grantee gave a final presentation and learned about how to sustain knowledge gained in the cohort and addressing high turnover. Additionally, grantees shared knowledge, brainstormed how to market and disseminate their findings, and how to secure future funding using data gathered in the RIE program.
