Food Story
Throughout life, Zigmont has seen the people that she cares about struggle to get enough food or enough healthy foods. Seeing others who are suffering with food and nutrition security is why she got involved in this work: Food should be something everyone has access to, it should not be a privilege. Food is love. Zigmont’s fondest food memory is baking cookies with her great aunt. This is something she really enjoys today (possibly a way to do chemistry at home now that she is not a chemist). Zigmont enjoys sharing her bakes with others.
