Meeting: Center for Nutrition & Health Impact team members Dr. Amy Yaroch, Dr. Carmen Byker Shanks, Dr. Chris Long, Dr. Courtney Parks, Ruth Quattro, and Ka Her attended a Nutrition Incentive Program Training, Technical Assistance, Evaluation, and Information (NTAE) Center 2.0/ Nutrition Incentive Hub meeting in Tempe, Arizona from April 16-18. During this in-person meeting, the Nutrition Incentive Hub partners (Center for Nutrition & Health Impact, Fair Food Network, University of California San Francisco) and specialists (The Food Trust, National Grocers Association Foundation, Michigan Farmers Market Association, Praxis Project) convened to plan collaborations for NTAE 2.0 and participate in team bonding activities, including at the Desert Botanical Garden.
Main takeaways and highlights: Valuable in-person time with Nutrition Incentive Hub partners and specialists was spent discussing plans for the next phase of the NTAE. The GusNIP team took stock of what was accomplished in the first iteration of GusNIP and how they can continue to streamline and work collaboratively to best support and provide outreach to the GusNIP community.
